Wrong Check in instructions are sent to guests

Hello,

to following problem I already contacted AirBnB Support - but like always - without solving my problem.


I have updated my check in instructions: In earlier times I had a fixed code for my keybox (lets say 9876).

Then I decided that each guests should get a personal code for the key box

Then I changed the instructions (Infos for guests => Arrival details => Check-in Instructions =>

For self check in, you'll find the keys in the key box - left side to the street door. Your personal code was sent to you after your reservation. The exact address is: ...

Following picture sent me my last guest. She got the new check-in instructions AND the old ones with her AirBnB app on her smartphone.
She tried the old, fixed code, which did not work. And yes, she booked in Dec 2021 AFTER I updated the Check-in Instructions in Dec 2018.
(Normally I contact my guests 2 days before Check-in to check that they they have all important information, but in this case i did not ... so she relied on AirBnb infos ...)

 

See the picture below (the first paragraph is correct - that I send the code after the reservation. but everything after "Check-in guide" - the blue circle - is OLD, WRONG information.
(the palm does not exist anymore, and the code is not a fixed code, and I dont know where I can delete these wrong information):

Any idea where / how I can delete these old, wrong instructions ?

eureka! I think i have solved the issue. I was only changing the caption for the photo, but in the phone app check in instructions you have to press the "..." to get to the actual edit menu. That is where you will be able to change the text.  I hope this works for you too! I'm so relieved.

yes, this has happened to me also. updated our door code for the season and guests are still getting the old code.

eureka! I think i have solved the issue. I was only changing the caption for the photo, but in the phone app check in instructions you have to press the "..." to get to the actual edit menu. That is where you will be able to change the text.  I hope this works for you too! I'm so relieved.

Sorry to bother you with this , but I am having a problem with old/deleted checkin details being sent to my guests , I have asked and asked airbnb for the solution but they are un able to help.. can you , when you have a min walk me through it .. if it easier for you to talk me through it my number is ** thank you very much.
