Shared Accommodation Airbnb Open 2016 LA

Hello I am Heather @ , from Guelph Canada

I am looking to share accomodation expenses and the experience of the Airbnb with other hosts in Airbnb business. I have collected 3 emails from Marie Astid, Christine, Delia, who have the same interest.

I have also received notes from others Anotonella, Jeoff, Ross, RaJ, and Liz indicating they are looking for accomodations as well; however, I have no email so I find it difficult to communicate outside of this group with Airbnb. 

The Airbnb software is great to pull us together; however, I think it would be more efficient to share emails in order to drill down the details, costs, transportation, etc.  

So going forward: The dates I plan to be in LA are 14-20; therefore we can obtain a weekly rate.  Of course, anyone staying would pay based on how many days they will be staying at the accomodation.

I will start looking for a group of 4 to share a house and if anyone wants to participate in this house, please send me an email to: [Personal information hidden]

Lovely to meet you and how exciting to hear you are going to the Open this year.

In regards to your email address, as you post is publicly visible for safety reasons I have had to remove this, however I completely understand that sometime so of the finer details you would prefer to speak in private. Therefore, I would recommend using the Direct Messaging system here in the Community Center. You can do this by hovering over the profile image next to the post of the person you wish to speak with here in the CC and you will see a pop up note with a 'Send Message' button. Click this and then you can send your message, just to add it will only send if you have a subject line and it will then appear in their personal email box. 

I hope this helps and you find a lovely place to stay during the Open. 🙂

I'm Bill from Sydney. I'm really looking forward to being in LA for Open before going on to the UK where my kids are at school and Uni there. I have alfready found and booked accommodation but would love to meet up with you and others in LA before or during the event. Hi Heather, I emailed a few weeks ago regarding shared accomodations. I don't have anything yet and wondering if you have found a place to stay and and a room mate yet? I am still looking for a room mate and a place. Can't afford much so sharing would be great. I couldn't get the send message icon to pop up when I hovered over your picture so I am sending you a message this way. Hi Liz, Yoursis the first prifile I've seen from western Canada.  I'm not replying about shared accommodation.  I have that, but I'd like to meet up with other Canadians who are at OA.  Lets figure out at way.
