Documenting the value of cancellations?

Anyone know where to look on Airbnb for the value of the cancelled reservation?

When Airbnb marks the reservation cancelled on my list the value goes to zero. It is also marked zero in the messages section.

It would be helpful for hosts to be able to document the losses due to this coronavirus emergency.

I guess if I was really diligent I could print a paper copy of the reservation when it comes in and then I would have it. Oh well.

Hi Martha,

ive now taken screenshots of all my cancellations for the rest of the year. I expect to be reimbursed 50% of any cancellations by Airbnb corporate the funds they have withheld or refunded to guests without my permission. Hope this helps!

*meant screenshots of all upcoming “reservations”. Just in case they try to continue this 100% refund policy and not compensate hosts their rightful 50%.

@Martha-and-Dennis0 The cancellation email I get has amount the guest was refunded. I’m saving all those emails.
