Chip Conley started Joie de Vivre Hospitality at age 26 with the purchase and renovation of The Phoenix Hotel at Larkin and Eddy Streets which became known as SF's rock 'n roll hotel. During his 24 years as founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre, he created 52 boutique hotels and, since April 2013, has been Airbnb's Head of Global Hospitality and Strategy.
Chip will be speaking
this Wednesday evening (December 2nd) at the new
Tenderloin Museum (an interesting spot to send your guests fascinated by SF history and urban life) about the democratization of hospitality and what it means to be a host.
