If a Local (someone who lives in the area of your listing, ex: A New Yorker booking in NY) books in the area they live in, their address should also be disclosed to the host and they should have to pay a mandatory security deposit. This is to deter locals from booking under false pretenses and ulterior motives. For the ones that truly need a place to stay for reasons like 'I came back from a trip days earlier than expected but my place is being used right now' or 'my place is being bug bombed, need a place to stay for a couple of days' etc etc. They can still book with no fear, leaving the host confident of their legitimate reason to book their place.
Any measures anyone can think of about this issue? Please feel free to add!
