Airbnb Host Days

Hello everyone,

Over the past few months, hosts in cities around the world have come together for an Airbnb Host Day, jam packed full of learning, stories, tips and fun activities.

Here in the CC, we have talked about the Dublin Oscailte in May and more recently we shared recaps from the Melbourne and New York Host Days. There are some great videos and photos from these events, so do take a look. 🙂

If you attended it would be great to hear from you. What were your favorite parts of the day or things you took from attending? If you haven't managed to make one of the Host Days or there hasn't been one near you, what would make up your ideal Host Day in the future? 🙂

The year is not finished though, there are more Host Days coming up over the next few months and we will keep you updated here in the CC as much as we can. 

For our hosts based in Mumbai, there will be a Host Day on October 16th, for more details on this take a look in the Mumbai city board or click here. It is going to be a great day and a fantastic ways to meet other hosts in your area.

Great to hear from you. 

At the moment, there aren't any Host Days scheduled this year in Toronto and London, but  there is always the possibility for them happening next year. I will keep you updated here about this. 🙂 

Cristina & Daniel, it is fantastic to hear you would love to be involved, I will let my teamate in Toronto know. 

What would make up your ideal Host Day? Is there anything you feel would really benefit you as a host, a specific topics for instance or perhaps some fun ideas for activities? At the New York Host Day one of the fun activities was to make personalised Airbnb keyrings. 🙂

I always like to learn what other hosts do to make their space stand out to travellers, get more bookings/ reservations etc. I have experience hosting events so would love to do so here!

Has your season gone a little quieter now we are in the Fall?

It's going great! My home has been booked solid since August! I'm a new host and still trying to find my strategy. I like pricing low in favour of higher occupancy. Plus, i'm a traveller myself and know what it's like to travel on a budget. I like knowing I can help people spend less on their accommodations so they can explore more 🙂 It's been working well so far

Aw that is fantastic to hear you are so busy, you have a lovely philosophy, I wish you lots of happy hosting experiences. 🙂

Great to hear you are well travelled. Is this how you got into hosting, staying in Airbnbs? My list of places to visit gets longer by the day, especially as I speak to people here in the CC and I see where they are from.

Oo whilst I remember, you might like to join the discussion in the Travelers board, What's on your travel wishlist?
