[GAME] 35 islands from all over the globe!
Hi everyone,
Exotic, tropical, distant, cold... each is unique, and there are tons of them to discover worldwide. I thought this would be a wonderful theme for our next game, so this week I’d like to take you on a tour of some islands! 🏝
There are 35 islands from all over the globe in the crossword grid below, can you identify them all?
To ensure everyone has a chance to participate, try to post only one answer or word at a time; I will update the updated game grid regularly.
I would love to know as well if you’ve had the opportunity to visit any of these islands -let us know below! 🛳 🛩
Have fun,
Quincy

10 down is Saint Helena. I've been out in the South Atlantic off the coast of Namibia, but not as far as that Island. It was quite popular to sail from Cape Town to Saint Helena or Tristan da Cunha.

I've only been to wildlife islands around Cape Town - Seal, Duijker, Dyer and, of course, the Infamous Robben Island.

@Quincy is 1 down Jersey. We didn't go there but spent 4 nights in Guernsey and caught the ferry from Weymouth and the ferry went onto Jersey in about 2014.

@Quincy I made a mistake we stayed on Jersey. My husband was interested in the history of the second world war and we did the tunnel tours and learnt about the invasion and how the Jersey people lived to survive during this time.
We caught the local buses around the island to see different areas.
We went walking around the hills and trails.
I loved the French influence with the streets shopping, food and people. I would go back again.

Is 7 across Grenada?
Unfortunately I haven't been but, when I worked in PR, one of my clients was a university there, so I was quite familiar with it. I always hoped to go out there, but every time there was a trip, my boss would snap it up!
