"The New Global Airbnb-Cookbook" - Indian Apple Chutney

Ingredients: 5 big apples, 1 big onion, 2 knobs garlic, 1,5 deciliter vinegar, 125 gram cane sugar, 1 tbsp. dark mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder or 1 chopped fresh red chili, salt and 60 gram raisins

 

How to: Peel and core the apples and chop into slices. Cook the apple slices in vinegar and sugar until soft. Add the chopped onions and garlic slices together with the rest of the ingredients. Cook slowly for another 15 minutes without the lid. Pour the apple chutney into cleaned glasses, lid on and let it cool. Store in the fridge. If you want it to keep for a long time you should add preservatives
