CANNOT EDIT my listing description

I have been trying for almost 2 months to change the wording on my listing description. It will not update. I've tried everything one word, the whole thing.. it just keeps defaulting back to the old version. I need to make changes for COVID reasons and it won't work. I've contacted Airbnb and no one responds.. help?

@Heidi361 If you are unable to save the description it is probably because you have exceeded the character limit. The save button will go out as soon as you exceed the secret limit

Hi Mike and Jane.. nope.. if i erase and put "hello" in the space then hit save, it still defaults back to my old description!

@Heidi361.

@Laura2592 and @Lawrene0, both mentioned in another post that they experienced issues with the site also.  Maybe Airbnb is making updates again, and it's impacting the ability to make updates.

Don't just believe what I say, check the Airbnb Help Center

@Heidi361 , I changed some wording on my listing this morning and it seems to have worked. What device and browser are you using?

I've been having the same issue for at least 6 months.  I called and got a live human at ABB, and they said it was a "known issue" and would be fixed shortly.  Not.  I Still can't edit my listing. 😞

I've also experienced this. The Save button is lit, but I get " Sorry, something went wrong" when I click on it. I'm pretty sure it's not a word count problem, but then again perhaps it is!

@Malcolm188

When I get that message it’s usually because the Airbnb system has logged me out.

Sometimes I can log in again and sometimes I have to reboot my phone.

Nope, not logged out. I'll try different browsers/platforms and see if it makes any difference.
