Change date/Alteration of check-in or check-out

Hello! I am new on Airbnb. My question is can I alter/change the check-in or check-out date one day prior to the original date we reserved? If not, how many days before the reserved date can we alter/change it? Thank you in advance

Yes, it is possible (regarding check-out date: can also be changed during the reservation. If it is an extension, it must be confirmed (by the host!) at latest before the check-out time on the check-out date).

But always keep in mind the host must accept the change, which can take some time (and is not an obligation !) Many host will not be pleased if you (want to) change dates on a very short notice.

@John-Michael5 the answer is "it depends"... if you want to shorten, host may not want to. if you want to lengthen, host may not be able to.

all you can do is ask and always the sooner, the better
