@Gifty5 Yes, of course, I have a form of contract that I sign with them that outlines all their duties. It comes with several checklists attached: the required steps for every cleaning; the inventory of furniture, equipment, and housewares; the list of suppies to be refilled for every guest; etc. The problem is that none of the cleaners are able to follow written instructions so far. They claim that they always do all the tasks on my checklists, but later I find out that they skip many of the steps, usually when a guest complains that something is dirty or that supplies are missing.
I cannot supervise the cleaners in person before paying them because I don't live in Baltimore. I usually rely on their "before" and "after" photos, but I've learned that they take the photos in a certain way on purpose to avoid showing the dirty spots (e.g., with the tiolet lid closed and the shower curtain drawn) or even send me old photos from an earlier cleaning!
