Do I require a homestay/resort license from Kerala government to rent out my property on Airbnb?

Hello, this is a query specifically for properties listed in Kerala.

I currently have a property that I am looking to list on Airbnb. It's a brand-new building, and we're in the process of getting a number for the building from the government.

Is it mandatory to have a homestay/resort license to list the building on Airbnb? It's a standalone, independent property. No one is staying there, but I live within the vicinity of the property.

I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me about this.

You would need to check on your local government website to see if there are short term rental regulations and if so whether you meet the requirements @Winds-Of0
