Do you use themed decor in your listing?
Hello everyone! 👋😊
I'd love to hear your experiences with the decor in your listings. Do you embrace a specific style such as beach-like and rustic, modern and minimalist, or perhaps eccentric and maximalist? It could even be something entirely different? How do you think these themes impact your guest experience and bookings?
Feel free to share an image below that captures the 'theme' or feel of your listing.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Ciao Andrea 👋
I love the homely feeling in your Airbnb 😍
Specifically the little pops of colour! Is the vase Murano?
Thank you so much for popping by, as always, and sharing your beautiful space.

Hi @Rebecca
I have been trying to use Luxury Escape Theme by using high-end touches to make my listing feel like a five-star hotel.
Include gold or silver accents, velvet furnishings, and luxurious bedding.
Cheers,

Hello @Nazanin16 👋
The gold or silver accents sound wonderful, and bedding really does make a difference. Do your guests often comment on these features?
Feel free to share some pictures of your listing!

I try to use the minimum decoration, however the decoration I have is vintage to give a sense of "retro" confort in the house. So far everyone loves it.

Hello @Olga1451 👋
I think the retro vintage theme is a great option for comforting decor. Have you got any pictures you'd like to share with us?

Hi @Rebecca and all,
I do learn from hi-end hotel. Go as neutral as could. This due to wide spectrum of customer outside there. Different preference. As a neutral ambience will allow more customer to be as prospect. As at now i go as nuetral as I could. This strategy pay off.

Hello @Rebecca
Oh! What a lovely topic! This is something that I thought long and hard on when my husband and I decided to venture into Airbnb world. We completely renovated an apartment so had a pretty blank canvas to work from. Initially thought we would go with neutrals like at home but when doing my research, I realised that everyone else was doing that already so I decided to be bold instead and luckily hubby went along with it😉. Competition is so high here that I felt it was important to stand out a bit and am happy with that choice today.
We kept the beautiful wooden flooring in the open lounge/kitchen area and one day came upon a picture at the tilers of a wooden flooring with a gorgeous deep sage green colour on a wall. It was a light bulb moment for me💡🤣
I then found a wallpaper for the wall in the entrance that I fell in love with. I did go for white in the bathroom like in hotels and white bed linen which meant that I could add runners and coloured cushions. The towels, tea towels are in green obviously😉
The master is in beige, white and olive green so pretty neutral there. My latest addition was to find an ironing board cover in that same green with palm trees. I am in the south of France after all! Obsessed me? No not at all🤣
But what is nice is the positive feedback from my guests, both female and male and a few have told me that they have stolen some ideas during their stay😊
Speaking from a personal perspective, when we stay anywhere away from home, we like to experience a change of scenery of course but also enjoy going for a place to stay that offers us something a bit different to our neutrals that we love for our home.
Best regards
Joëlle

@Joelle43, I do love the sage green. It is such an uplifting and calming feel and personally, greens are used throughout my decor in my home, mainly because it feels like you're bringing nature inside! I think the natural textures and colours compliment it very well too.
I agree, when I travel, I tend to look for something a little different than I'm used to decor wise, but I still like it to feel welcoming and homely.
I think you've got wonderful taste and your listing is very inviting... It's no wonder you have such lovely comments from your guests and visitors.
Thank you so much for sharing!
