How does everyone handle leaves and/or snow clean up during guest's stay?

With falling leaves abundant at this time of the year in many areas, how do you handle it during longer stays? If I have someone for two nights, I am going to let it accumulate. However, if it is a week long stay, I struggle between not intruding onto the guests and at the same time keeping the property clean for them

We clean up leaves before and after guests.  If a guest is staying for a week during leaf season, we advise that there will be no cleanup during their stay.  This has not been an issue as most guests do NOT want to have maintenance persons on the property during their stay.

@Inna22. I leave a broom out.

Great question! Balancing cleanliness and guest privacy can be tricky with longer stays. For week-long guests, a good approach could be to mention light maintenance at check-in. You could explain that, to keep the property welcoming, you might do a quick, unobtrusive cleanup of leaves or snow a couple of times during their stay. This way, guests are informed ahead of time and know it’s about making their experience enjoyable without too much disruption.

Many guests actually appreciate the effort to keep things tidy and safe, especially with snow. And if possible, maybe do this when they’re out for the day to keep things as convenient as possible!
