If I remove an amenity, should I notify upcoming booked guests?

I have home gym in my bnb that includes a treadmill. I’m thinking of moving the treadmill to my house for my own use. Do I need to notify guests who are already booked that it’s no longer an amenity? I think as a courtesy, I should, but am wondering if this is a requirement.

@Barbara2543  Absolutely yes, If you specify an amenity on your listing, and then remove it without letting the guests know it can be a real issue… and a violation as far as Airbnb are concerned.  I would advise that you contact anyone booked, let them know about the Treadmill not being there anymore and give them the option of either a discount for the missing amenity, or a penalty free cancellation in order to mitigate any issues with complaints.
