cooking smells

Does anybody write about cooking smells in their rules - like turn on fans while cooking ?

If you have windows that open, encourage your Guests to do that first and foremost.

It's more cost effective and less noise than fans which tend to also generate outside of one's home so may impact on neighbours.

Fans can and do get mucky and add to the electricity bills so incorporate those extra chores and expenses in outgoings, some Guests do more cooking than others.

I include a piece in my listing that Guests who would like to cook meals let me know in advance so one can plan not to clash in kitchens etc.
