Following @J-Renato0's idea and seeing that many of you enjoy your movie nights (hey, not much else to do these days), we thought it's a good time for another movie game.
The following films have succeeded in the test of time. Some were praised by critics, while others have impacted pop culture and are popular no matter where you are or which era is your speciality, and some are just plain good fun.
So the big question is, can you guess the films from a single image?
As always, let's have one guess per turn so more people can play and enjoy the game. Feel free to add more photos in the comments to keep this going.
Most importantly, have fun!

@Nick I agree it was an amazing debut! Loved it, but haven't seen Us. I'll check it out!
Thanks, we'll always have this CC @Laura2484 😉 - which is another way of saying you're spot on
11 blade runner
Sorry just reread the rules
Absolutely @Lisa723 and probably my favourite sci-fi film of all time. Can't say the same for the newest one, but it had big shoes to fill. Have you seen it?
Spot on @Dale711
Still waiting for the promised sequels but it's been so long I can't hardly remember the original film. Are you fans?
3. The Karate Kid - 1984 movie (Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio)
(They made The Karate Kid then sequels 2 & 3!)
Of course @Cathie19
An all-time childhood favourite. Now that I think about it, martial arts were huge after this back in the day.
It made a comeback with the same actors as a show on Netflix, titled "Kobra Kai" (Daniel's archnemesis). I saw the first two seasons in September, right after the summer holidays and the third season premiered just a few weeks ago, during the holiday season. Watched the whole thing during my Christmas break.
It is so funny seeing these characters all grown up. Ralph Macchio is now the same age as Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi) was in the original film. Have you seen it by any chance?
9. Forrest Gump
Tom Hanks
That is correct @Maria-Rossella0
I'm surprised it took so long, I thought Forrest would be the first to go 🙂
@Nick Has it been there a long time? As soon as I saw it I recognized it immediately ... perhaps because it is one of my favorite films !!
@Nick @Maria-Rossella0 @J-Renato0 @Ann72 @Cathie19 @Emilia42
Yes Life is a Box of Chocolates, I'll always remember my dear nephew aged 11 at his school playing the role of Forrest Gump and saying he wanted to be an actor.
He applied for Shakespeare's Globe Youth acting school in London and enjoyed his time there and traveling through Europe.
Have any of you ever had any acting roles?
If so, which character did you play?
