Supporting communities with $6M in grants

Did you read the news about the latest Airbnb Community Fund grantees? 

In 2022, we awarded more than $6 million USD to organizations focused on environmental conservation and sustainability worldwide—from Japan to South Africa—through the Airbnb Community Fund. It’s part of our commitment to supporting not only Hosts, but also the places you call home.

We created the Airbnb Community Fund in 2020, with a goal to distribute $100 million USD through 2030 to programs that strengthen communities. We want to thank our Host Advisory Board members, whose feedback helped us choose the 2021 and 2022 recipients. 

Last year, the Airbnb Community Fund also awarded grants to Airbnb Hosts in the U.K. and France to help them improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
