Hello @Krishana3

This is very much the hosts responsibility to check with their local authorities that they have completed all the necessary formalities to be able to list legally on Airbnb.  Each country and sometimes each town have their own rules and for many of us, legislation concerning STR is changing fast.

If there is anything missing from your Airbnb account, you may not get paid in time and you definitely want to avoid being fined if you are not compliant.

It's all part of the process Krishana, Good luck

@Joelle43 is correct. Your local government office is the source of information, regulations, and assistance with compliance to ordinances including those about public health and safety, noise, parking, and getting along with neighbors. There are usually taxes to collect and submit. Failing to do this can cause uncomfortable and perhaps costly consequences. Our terms of service with this platform require that we know and comply with all these requirements. Local zoning may permit or prohibit these, our business ventures and it is our responsibility to know and comply. I've found that our local office wants us to succeed, and they are wonderfully helpful. As @Joelle43 says, local regulations tend to change like the weather, and registering with them will keep us all legal and properly informed.

Best of luck in this business venture and may you be delighted with the experience!

Thank you for the great support and suggestions.
