After a cancelation my listing does not appear without filters

Hi, recently i had 2 reserves, one from the 23-29th of august and another one from the 3-5th of september, both cancelled to not being able to travel. Being august in spain and seing there was a high demand in the area it seemed strange to me that these dates were not being reserved so I decided to look for the listing for myself.

this lead me to discover that if i searched for any of period withing the 2 specified cancelations my listing would not appear unless i added to the filter one of the listings accesories (wifi, kitchen, whatever...) this does not happen in other dates where the apartment has not been reserved and cancelled as it appear automatically with no filters needed.

I tried to contact airbnb withmy problem but for now that have not been of much help. Doesn anybody know a solution to this or is this a common bug when they cancel a reserve? i would appreciate any help possible.

There is a work-aound for this calendar bug after a cancellation:

Block the dates manually, and re-open again.

As far as I know Airbnb is aware of this bug.

This is a brand new listing, without any reviews and any future bookings. It should be shown at the top of search results. If you don't get any bookings try to lower the price a bit to be competitive with other listings with reviews. Guests are hesitant to book a place without reviews bc they are afraid of fraud.

it seems cancellations have an impact on the listing's search ranking. It doesn't matter who canceled, you or the guest. Some say even declined or withdrawn requests can push the listing down the search results.

Thanks for the response, as you said the listing is brand new and I am getting reserves, i do not have opinions yet as i started a few days ago and the first people are still staying at the apartment, apart from that i do have some other reserves, the issue still remains the same, within those 2 date ranges the appartment doesnt appear after 2 costumers cancelled you can check it out youself if you want, I just wanted to know if this is fault of the way i listed the appartment or if its a airbnb bug. If oyu check lets say october dates the appartment appears with no issue, on the other hand try looking for this same appartment for 25-29 and you will not be able to find it unless you add lets say a wifi filter.

Seems Airbnb was able to fix the issue, as I suspected the problem was on their side. If anyone has the same issue get in contact with Airbnb support
