Hello @Andy4272

The two links you have given take us to our own listings!  But by going onto your photo and then clicking on your profile I was able to see your two new listings.

I did a private search for 4 people for a one night stay in April.  The annexe came up on page 5 so your listings are appearing in searches but there are many listings to choose from.  If you put in a search for just 2 people, then there is even more competition obviously.

Hello @Andy4272 👋

As @Joelle43 kindly said, the links you shared weren't quite right so I've amended them above to make sure that our experienced hosts have access to them easily.

@Joelle43, is there anything that @Andy4272 can do with their listing to give it a 'boost'?

Thanks so much in advance! 😊

Hello again @Andy4272 @Rebecca

Here are a few recommandations I would alter having looked at both your listings and bear in mind that any tweak made to our listings, be it in our descriptive or changes to our photographs will be picked up by the algorithm and this tells it that it has a responsive host😉

The Blue House - Annexe

  1. Guests see that the place is for 5 people except I can't see where this 5th person is going to sleep - only two beds shown.
  2. If you add the size of the beds, it will create a new section for guests to see "Where you'll sleep" which tells guests immediately the number and size of the beds per bedroom
  3. When I read the descriptive I learn that it's a home.  Well I would love to see some photos of the outside of the house please as I thought it was more of an apartment.  I would definitely have this as my main picture rather than a picture of the television!  Having a TV is great, just not my idea of the MOST important picture to incite guests to click on a listing😂
  4. We see a lot of pictures of the lounge in those all important 5 top photos which If I'm honest seems small for 5 people - I can see a small sofa so if I'm coming with my family, not sure how we will fit?   You say "relax with the whole family..." so this seems to be your target market but a family needs room to sit down, chill and eat together.  Any chance that you can zoom out to show how big this space is.  Indicating the sizeof rooms is a good idea too.
  5. Same thing for the dining table - small and only 2 chairs. Where are the other 3 people going to sit when eating?
  6. I see from the amenities section that you also have an outside dining area - well that's great and guests definitely want to see a photo of this space😊  You'll have  to create another space for this on the Photo Tour - several outside spaces to choose from. This may be your best picture or it should be in the top 5 I think
  7. For each of the rooms in your Photo Tour, you can add the amenities that these rooms provide - ie. A/C, bedding etc.  There's a drop down list to choose from just under the photos of the room. Guests prefer to look at the photos rather than read a long description😉
  8. Just to make sure - it says there isn't a washing machine in the house.  Is this correct?  No essentials like salt, pepper etc?
  9. I would look at ways to put other valuable information for guests coming to the area - things to do maybe and distances by foot or by car.  You mention that the house is part of a compound but as a French/English person, I'm not certain what this means?  Is the house stand alone or semi-detached maybe?  How far are the nearest neighbours?
  10. Should have started with this, but I would fill in your profile page so that guests have a better idea of who you are and this inspires trust too.

The Blue House

  1. I'm guessing that this listing is a reduced version of the Blue House - Annexe?  For max 2 people and just 1 bedroom/1 bathroom as the photos are the same.
  2. It's the same description as for the larger version but still reads "Relax with the whole family"...
  3. In the list of amenities for this listing, I noticed that it says that there is no heating.  Is that correct?

I presume that you have linked the two calendars together so that if someone books the 1 bedroom unit, it automatically blocks the calendar of the larger 2 bed house?

OK, well that's all I think for now but come back if you have any questions.
All the best
Joëlle

Thank you very much Joelle. I will review all these and make the necessary updates.

Thank you

Andy
