Allowing a particular guest to make a reservation outside of my reservation window.

We had good guests last summer that would like to return this summer. It is outside my 3-month reservation window. How do I allow one particular guest to make an early reservation, or at least only allow THEM to book that particular time?

Open the dates and ask the guest to book.....!

(You can  not reserve dates for a particular guest,unless you are on Instant Book and sent a special offer.)

We do allow Instant Book. Is that what you mean by "unless you are on Instant Book"? We were not making them a special offer cost-wise, just wanted to keep it set aside for them to book. It's for July 4th 10 days. If I open it up someone else could instant book it before her, even if I have it all organized with her!

What should I do?

@Cathy969  You could turn off IB, open your calendar so the dates are bookable, tell the guest to send a booking request, which you right away accept, then, as soon as the booking is confirmed, take your calendar back to 3 months out and turn IB back on.
