Paula, thanks for reaching out. I have read a lot of the posts on the topic both on the Airbnb website and elsewhere, and tried the following without success:
- Deleted the app from my iPhone and reinstalled
- Logged out of app on the phone
- Changed the settings on the app
- On the Airbnb website and on the app I have systematically gone through every conversation with a host since 2015 (when I started) to see if, like email, there was a message that I had not read that was causing the problem
- Archived past conversations
Any suggestions would be welcome. I contacted Airbnb and spoke to an agent, who said she would pass it on to “engineering”. No response.
