During initial setup of my listing I was unable to select an option to disable this so went ahead and completed the setup and reached out to support. When I go into my listing the switch to disable refugee/disaster stays is missing and if I uncheck both boxes the option to save becomes greyed out. So far the only answers I have received were to turn it off myself but as you can see I am unable to do that. Has anyone else seen this issue before or does anyone have any thoughts on how to solve this. i have tried multiple browsers with and without addons/extensions.

I have opened a separate issue with CS for that as well. Hopefully some solutions can be found.
That was the issue, but was odd that it wasn't showing me that. They were able to get the verification solved but unfortunately it has not changed the issue for the posting. Thank you once again for your insights and attempts at helping.
Just checked your listing and it does show dates open in April? Is that the only dates you wanted to open?
It also says "Host" now.
I saw the host change as well but good to know it is showing for everyone. The dates have always shown as available but if you attempt to book them it will tell you that they are unavailable.
Ok...it could be that since technically the listed wasn't fully published until the ID verification was completed, it can take up to 24 hours for it to show dates open.
Now that you have official Host status, Try logging off everything again and log back in using your email address.
I'm assuming you checked the preferences again and still nothing there?
Interesting as I did attempt before I replied and if I check in a private window and in my full account it still shows unavailable. If I search on the map for it, it also does not show.
Also, I would check your calendar settings and make sure you haven't mistakenly turned on some sort of limitations on the calendar. Try blocking and unblocking the dates also.
Unfortunately nothing has changed in the preferences, the options are still restricted. I did the log out and clean up suggested earlier to see if anything changed and it did not. I also did as you suggested with the calendar options to no success. I agree with your assessment that we should wait 24 hours and see if anything changes, which I think will be my next step. I will report back then and see what we have found.
