Critique my Listing - Saad from Ottawa, Canada

Hi everyone!

We have just launched our Airbnb last week after months of preparation and anticipation. We’re incredibly excited to go on this journey with all of you.

We’d LOVE if you can take a look and let us know what you think about our listing, photos, description, anything really to help us as we’re trying our best to be 5 Star/ Superhosts for our guests.

We reply to all inquiries/ bookings immediately and have set up auto/scheduled replies with all info required. 
However, after a short quick surge of interest, we’re not seeing much bookings for the last few days.

Nice listing, @Saad94. For me, too many photos essentially showing the same thing. Looks like you've got some wide-angle magic going on there too.

And why wouldn't you have a photo of the outside as the money shot? If it's dog-ugly, maybe shot 19 instead? The current one doesn't sell it as the gem it is.

Shot 37 of the bath...filled, looks a little creepy to me (or perhaps the perfect place to drown someone). 

In your rules you say: We do not allow extra guests or pets at our home.

But a line down: If extra guests are found to be at the property, there will be a $100 charge/night per guest.

You either don't, or you do...same with pets.

I'd throw a massive NO PARTIES on their too, but maybe that isn't a risk in your neck of the woods.

Thanks for the fantastic detailed reply. We’ve changed our profile photo to the one you mentioned and have gotten a few more bookings!

What a beautiful listing! Great job! Two things that jumped out at me: aside from your first 'money shot' all other photos should be grouped together, otherwise it's confusing to scroll through (i.e. all the kitchen photos together, all living room photos together). 2nd - add a description to each photo, even if it's a little cheesy and basic. Don't assume the guests know what they are looking at.
