Critique my listing - Chris in Joshua Tree area, CA

Hi everybody,

just starting out with my first listing on Airbnb!

Since I'm new, I find it really difficult to compare different listings and get a good feeling for it, which is why I really look forward to getting some critique.

Currently, my main concern is that my House is missing a Hot Tub, which most of the other ones have. But I've already invested a ton of money, and it's just not in the budget right now.

I also find it very difficult to choose a good cover photo.

I'd choose this one here, because it shows one of the main amenities and looks super bright. But another host recommended the second one as a cover photo:

Also, how do you like the photos overall?

@Christoph3348 Beautiful listing! I think the photo with the tree decor is best for the cover photo! Definitely grabs the eye.

I would suggest adding some more details on your photo captions so guests know what they’re looking at. For example from a guest’s perspective, there’s a photo of what I think is a home control center but without a caption, leaves me unsure.
