Hi All,
I've recently had a note/comment in the Detailed Feedback section of a review. The overall review is 5 Stars.
It notes under Location and above Value, "Not private" proceeded by a circled exclamation mark.
I'm trying to figure out if this a comment left by the guest, or some automated note from ABNB. I can't find any reference to private in my listing. It's private, but there are neighbors, so I couldn't claim it's absolutely private. I've attached a screen shot. I had thought of asking the guest, as they were very gracious in their review, but thought I'd try here first.
Any insights would be appreciated
Geoff
Hi @Geoffrey209
What a fantastic and appealing place you have.
I love the materials and the green surroundings—the kangaroos are also adorable 😍
When a guest leaves a review after their stay with you, they are asked to provide an overall rating. After that, they are prompted to rate each section: Check-in, Cleanliness, Accuracy, Communication, Location, and Value.
For each section, along with giving a star rating, they are presented with a selection of statements they can choose from and click on. Some guests use these, while others do not. Below is an example from a guest who chose to use many of the available options.
There are both positive and less positive statements to choose from, which together help form an impression of the guest’s experience during their stay.
If a guest points out something slightly less positive, it could be because they were expecting something different from what they experienced. For instance, regarding "Not private," it might be a good idea to mention in your description if there are nearby neighbors or shared facilities. But you have very impressive reviews, so everything seems to be going well for you, from what I can see 👍
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further input.
Best of luck with your hosting
Best regards,
Karen
Thank you @Karen4131 for your reply and comments. I'll follow up on the changes you suggest.
I've noticed though, that it's very easy to max out the allowable amount of text in any of the text fields.
