First winter hosting in Big Bear.

What are some things to mention about weather, icy conditions, using the fireplace, heat settings and water pipes... So many questions I know but I want the guests to be prepared and also safe.

Thanks

Yes all those areas are worth mentioning in your visitor guide/when you show guests around.

Stopping the water pipes freezing are your responsibility as the host . I keep my place at 8 degrees to stop them freezing.  @Grant271

Do you provide salt for the walkways? Do you have issues with your driveway? Our cabin is on flat ground on a plowed road so don't know if we will have any issues. Thanks for the response and help.

Did you mean 8 degrees? Celsius or Fahrenheit?

Take a look at other properties listed in your area and see what they say,
