If you are a Duke Energy customer, sign up by texting REG to 57801 or enroll at duke-energy.com/OutageAlerts for texts, phone or email alerts.

If you do not live in the same location as your rental property, set the alert for the zip code of your rental property.

I have the App on my phone.  Log in, and then you can select Outage Maps if you want to review outages at yours or another location.  I hope that this helps.

I am not interested in outage alerts. I am interested in renting my room to an outage worker. Duke pays the landlord to reserve rooms in case there is an outage. How do you get on the list ?

@Charles1264  I would suspect that the list is kept by Duke.  Have you talked to the local office about this?  They may have a contract with a local realtor who lists the available rooms.
