Dear Airbnb Support Team,
I am reaching out on behalf of Serendev Lanka Stays, a homestay network based in Sri Lanka. Our business is focused on promoting authentic Sri Lankan homestay experiences by partnering with homeowners across the country. We plan to manage multiple homestays under a centralized business model, ensuring quality, consistency, and professional service across all our properties.
We would like to know the best way to list and manage multiple homestays on Airbnb under our business. Specifically, we would appreciate guidance on:
1.Business Account Setup – Is there an option to manage multiple properties under one business account?
2.Payment Processing – Can we receive all payments into a single business account and distribute them toindividual homestay owners?
3.Property Management Tools – Are there any recommended tools within Airbnb for managing multiple listings efficiently?
4.Verification & Compliance – What are the key requirements to register and verify homestays under a business network?
5.Marketing & Visibility – Any tips on improving visibility for new homestay listings with no prior reviews?
We are eager to work with Airbnb to bring high-quality, community-driven tourism to Sri Lanka. Your advice on the best approach for listing and managing our network would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Best regards,
Jayantha Kudagama

It's best that you do a lot of research on your own, and search through this community's archived conversations to gather information from hosts' experiences and insights. I always recommend that all hosts reference the Airbnb Help Center for official information regarding accounts, payouts, etc. Also, click the Explore Hosting Resources link that's in the menu of your host dashboard or clicking the drop-down menu next the words Community Center at the top of the homepage. These resources will provide answers to all the questions you've asked.
Hello @Jayantha8 ,
All the best with your new business! It sounds like a great idea with strong potential for success.
First, let me briefly answer your questions, and then I’ll share some additional insights.
1. You should manage all the listings under one business account. This is how Airbnb expects things to operate.
2. Yes, all payments from all listings will go to a single account, from which you can pay your suppliers, including the homeowners.
3. Within Airbnb, you can switch to Pro Mode to access more options, especially if you have a business account and tax considerations.
4. Property verification is a local matter, and a local lawyer can provide more insight on this. In many countries, property owners need a license for short-term stays.
5. When you start, Airbnb will help promote your property over others, so make sure everything is well-prepared.
General Advice:
You are starting a business, and in my humble opinion, always strive to hire the best people your budget allows. Look for professional hosts in your area with excellent reviews and consider hiring one to help you set things up. Many local experienced hosts would be happy to assist you. They can also provide valuable local insights.
Setting a strong foundation is the key to success. Starting with bad reviews can make it difficult to grow on this platform.
all the best,
