Hi @Waheed17 😊

Thank you for posting this, it’s so useful!

I have a question: why should the host include these words in the listing?

What is the purpose of this?

Warm regards, 🌻

Thank you for your thoughtful question, and I’m so glad you found this post helpful!

These words are not just descriptive—they’re actually keywords derived from analyzing 500,000 Airbnb reviews.

They represent what guests commonly value and highlight in their feedback. By incorporating these keywords into your listing (with slight adjustments to fit your property), you make it more relatable, engaging, and aligned with guest expectations.

This approach helps in two key ways-

Increased Conversion-- Once a listing shows up in search results, its copy is what convinces a guest to stay.

Using these keywords creates a personal tone, as if you’re having a one-to-one conversation with your potential guest, which builds trust and interest.

Improved Visibility- If you look through successful listings, you’ll notice these words often appear.

This is because they resonate with what guests are looking for, encouraging them to spend more time on your listing and ultimately book.

I

ntuition plays a crucial role in effective marketing and communication. Taking time to reflect and connect with what guests truly want helps you craft a listing that appeals instinctively to them.

It’s all about creating that emotional connection while tapping into what matters most to travelers.

i am writing some more community post around these concepts

Hi @Waheed17

I notice you've joined the Airbnb community recently as a guest and have made multiple posts telling hosts how they can market their listing .

As someone who isn't a host themselves what's your interest/expertise in terms of what works when it comes to best practice around marketing STRs on Airbnb?

I'm afraid you don't really understand how the  Airbnb platform or algorithms works  and this is leading you to offer incorrect, misleading advice.

For example - many of the key words you've identified in this post won't be relevant for many hosts here because they aren't amenities they offer so they would be foolish to include them in their listing .

Your comment that including them in a hosts copy will lead to increased visibility is also incorrect.

It certainly won't make a hosts  listing more relevant or relatable as you claim.

And your statement that using these words in a hosts copy will lead to higher conversions is also incorrect.

Please don't write more posts offering false information and 'advice'  it will only confuse new hosts using this community .

With all due Respect @Helen3  we have connected before on another thread as well and i explained furhter... Asking me to Not Posts or Something like that this does not sound good in community and being professional.. if you learn something from my post keep it if you dont just ignore... Keywords if they are not relevant to your property ignore it too but the one who include they will learn...

Also Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback. I truly appreciate the opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue with someone as experienced as yourself, especially with your impressive track record as a Superhost and your expertise in communications and marketing.

Let me first clarify my intention behind the posts I’ve shared in this community. My focus has always been to encourage discussions that help elevate the guest experience, optimize listings, and ultimately empower hosts to perform at their best. While I may not currently be a host myself, my background lies in digital marketing and consumer psychology, which gives me a unique perspective on what resonates with audiences and drives conversions in competitive marketplaces like Airbnb.

Now Please Again Read whole below This line Thank you...

Regarding the keywords I shared, I completely agree with your point that they won’t apply to every host. Not every listing will feature amenities like "secure parking" or "luxurious bathrooms," and in those cases, including such keywords would indeed feel out of place. My suggestion was aimed more at inspiring hosts to reflect on the strengths of their unique properties and how they present those strengths to potential guests.

As for the relationship between certain language and conversions, I’d like to respectfully share my perspective. In the world of marketing, language plays a pivotal role in shaping perceptions.

Words like "spacious," "family-friendly," or "felt at home" can evoke emotions and create connections with potential guests, which, when paired with accurate descriptions, can positively impact decision-making. While these won’t directly manipulate visibility in search results (as I understand the algorithm is multifaceted), they can still play a role in influencing guest perception and the likelihood of booking.

I completely understand your concern about misleading advice, and I’ll take extra care to frame my insights in a way that encourages hosts to tailor strategies to their specific circumstances rather than generalizing. At the same time, I’m here to learn from seasoned hosts like yourself and refine my understanding of the nuances of Airbnb hosting.

Thank you again for your feedback, and I look forward to continuing to share ideas and learning from this incredible community.

I  have never told you not to post here please don't lie @Waheed17 I asked you not to post misleading information -which your original post is.

I believe your intention in posting here is to promote yourself as a digital expert for hosts so you get paid for work . (As you allude to on your profile) .

if you are a host with a sixteen person property as you claim why isn't it on your profile.

You are hitting hard. 😳

This is where it was in your first reply:
"Please don't write more posts offering false information and 'advice.' It will only confuse new hosts using this community."

Firstly, my intention in sharing posts here is to provide value and insights that I’ve learned and shared.

I have written in my bio who I am and what I do. You should not have a problem with it.

Community is built through welcoming and staying supportive.

If I share value and someone takes it, it works, and they want to raise their business, get more bookings, or increase sales—whatever the outcome is—and they pay me happily with their own intent, is this something you don’t support?

You are doing hosting your way. I am doing my work my way.

Thank you.

Hi @Sabrina1113  Your Listing Looks Great Well Written images are fine

4.84Rating
61 Reviews
You Are supert Host

your listing is already fantastic—well-written, visually appealing, and with an impressive 4.84 rating from 61 reviews. As a Superhost, you're clearly doing a lot right!

For the description, focus on capturing attention within the first 4–5 lines before guests need to click "Show More."

Avoid making constant edits or over-optimizing—it’s best to focus on delivering a great guest experience and let the listing perform naturally. Rankings can shift over time, but your consistent hospitality will keep you strong.

Lastly, don’t stress about the slower pace right now. It’s a global slowdown (even Amazon sales are affected). I have a property for 16 guests, and while we’re getting queries, bookings have been slower too.

Things will normalize soon—just stay consistent and patient!
