Last minute discount

I have a last minute rebate of 40% and a length of stay discount of 30%. In this article https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2061?locale=en it says "If your rule-set includes multiple pricing rules, they’ll be applied in this order:

1. Nightly and weekend pricing
2. Length-of-stay (weekly, monthly) discounts
3. Early-bird and last-minute discounts"

But HOW are they applied in order? First the price and possible increase of 1 is applied, and then if 2 has a discount value greater than zero, then 3 is NOT applied any more - is that correct?

I rephrases: 

But HOW are they applied in order? Is it correct that at first the nightly price is applied including any possible price increase for weekends; then, IF a length-of stay discount exists, it is applied and NO further discount (like an early bird discount) is applied. But IF a length of stay discount does NOT exist, only then an early bird or last minute discount is applied. All correct?
