Managing listings

Hi, please can anyone help?

I have a one bed self contained cottage listed on Airbnb and I want to add another separate double room with en-suite. However I only want to have this room available for booking either when the cottage is not booked or the two accommodations can be booked together. I do not want the room to be able to be booked independently. The reason for this is privacy. The bedroom is very close to the cottage and access is via it’s garden, so it really needs to be two couples together. Is there a way to do this on my listing so that the room is not bookable if the cottage is occupied?

You need to link the calenders as explained here:

@Claire1834 leave existing listing as listing 1. Create a 2 bed listing - Listing 2. Link the calendars so if L1 books then L2 is blocked.

Play around by perhaps blocking L1s calendar in popular days/weeks tpforce the more expensive L2 to be booked.
