NYC OSE Registration denial

Can you someone please tell me what I can do about my ose application denial ?

2) the submitted listing appears to offer illegal occupancy, specifically it appears to offer an un-hosted listing, and may be corrected by replacing the listing with one that offers a legal occupancy or amending the listing to make clear that the stay is hosted within the unit that is the subject of the application

What is the legal occupancy for a short term rental ? Online it says 2, but I see many short term listings on Airbnb in NYC that hosts more than 2 people. How is this possible ? Please help

@Paloma252 I guess the others have either slipped through the net or have obtained a licence.

I would focus on what you need to do to make your listing compliant so you can continue to take bookings @Paloma252  - it looks like yoyr city have provided you with guidance around what you need to do to comply?

You are correct many STR owners have been operating STR businesses that don't comply with your city STR legislation and the city is now cracking down on this.
