New to AIRBNB and struggling to get bookings

Hello

My name is Shaik Ayub and I am hosting for the first time. My Space is spacious and I have provided every Furniture and with good interiors. Even I have listed my space @ a very competitive price. But still I have got only 3 days of bookings in an entire 40 days.

Am I doing something wrong 😑

Am I missing something 🤔

Hello @Shaik19!

Welcome to hosting! 🥳

It’s great to hear that you’ve put effort into making your space comfortable for guests. Sometimes, bookings can take a little time to pick up, but there are definitely ways to improve.

If you could share your listing link, I’d be happy to take a look and provide more specific advice.

I think you have to review your listings.  Listing number one is not 5 beds and listing number two is not 1 bed.

Review your market, usually even a mid term work related reservation doesn't move their whole family for 4 months.

It is hard to see in the photos, but there is something that looks like a camera in your bathrooms. If potential guests think that, they would be unlikely to book. Also, it is hard to tell from your pictures which beds are in which rooms because there are really similar looking spaces that have different bed coverings. I would suggest just photographing one bed covering (blanket, comforter, duvet, etc.) per bed so that it is very clear what bed goes with which space and also what guests can expect it to look like when they arrive. I also agree with the other member who suggested reviewing your listings to make sure they have everything explained clearly and correctly, including the numbers and types of beds. Lastly, there is a tool to help you see the prices of similar listings in the area, whether booked or unbooked. That can be very helpful to make sure you are pricing competitively to what is actually being booked. Good luck!

Edit: I would also rearrange the pictures on one of your listings so that there is variety on the listing home page when looking at it on a desktop. Right now, it is a bit overwhelming on pictures of beds. If you can show some pictures of other spaces on there, it might help create a better balance.

The other listing shows up very yellow due to the walls. If you could put some decorations on those walls or even paint a color that doesn't stand out as much, that might make the listing more appealing to potential bookers. Also, the kitchen looks like it needs to be cleaned and staged a bit better, with the drawers pushed in and all clutter removed. Same for the dining room of that listing. There appears to be stuff on the floor and some towels hanging over the chairs. Lastly, I would invest in new bedding for each of the beds in that listing and be sure they are neatly and tidily made before taking pictures. The visual appeal is extremely important for Airbnb bookings. Again, best of luck!
