Relisted after remodelling

Hello Everyone!

I just relisted my property a couple of weeks ago after a lengthy remodel.  I plan on renting monthly because of prohibitive costs and fees locally.  At any rate, even though I am listed the property is not showing up on Airbnb. 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @Síle2 

I found your listing on page 2 for 4 guests when I enter the dates 1 March to 2 April (the minimum stay is 31 days). You can check in private mode to see whether you're happy with the position or whether you want to change some things to rank higher, but it's showing!

In your case your host reviews are great and your listing looks complete to me. I assume you don't want to relax the cancellation policy much if you're going to take such long bookings.

You may want to look at the main remaining issue, price. When I search in private mode for 4 guests, there seem to be entire houses that are noticeably cheaper. You know the area and will be in a better position to judge your pricing relative to other listings, but studying that is probably the key to ranking higher (if you're eager to get booked right away).

@Shelley159 Thank you for taking the time to address my Airbnb property question.  In my area many of the homes open up to large groups of people, e.g., it might be a two-bedroomed space but they will open up to 8 or more guests. I don't want to do that but it makes it a bit difficult to compete as the cost per guest will be higher in my space. However, I plan on taking the price down until I can get some bookings and then re-assess later on.
