Requesting Critique - new listing

Just looking for any advice on our new listing. Considering better, more professional pictures but since it's a very small space we don't have a lot to work with so not sure if it's worth it. Also, wondering if pictures of the area we are in are necessary. Like local restaurants, the beach, and things of that nature. Thanks so much,

Hello @Cory-And-Heather0welcome to the Airbnb community! You've raised a great question about the importance of adding information about local restaurants and nearby activities. Let's see what our amazing Hosts suggest.

I  would like to invite @Karen114@Bettye6@Gwen386 and @Eileen462 to share their feedback and ideas regarding your listing.

All the best,

@Cory-And-Heather0  Cute space!  Yes, you should absolutely have pics of your area highlighting beaches, restaurants and shopping.  Remember,  guests are not coming to  San Diego to stay at your listing.  They are coming to San Diego to see and do all there is to do and see and will need a place to stay while doing that. Think of your space as being ancillary to the area.

Lot's of room for photos of the beach and other attractions local to you.   Your title is Beach Hideaway so play on that. If you don't already you can offer a couple of beach chairs, cooler and towels for the beach.  All my listing are at the beach or very near the beach and this is what I do and guests really appreciate it.

Would definitely get pro pics done. Even though the space is cozy it will not hurt to be have better brighter pics with some staging.

The outdoor space is nice to have.  When I stay at an Airbnb I do like to have an outdoor space to relax in the evening with beverage or two.  Maybe think about getting some  comfier chairs.  Maybe some night shots with some string lights on the fence to give some ambience.

Glad to see you allow dogs being so close to a dog beach 🙂

In the space section of the listing I would remove that you live in the front with LTR upstairs etc.  Use that space to talk more  about your area.  You can put those other important details in the things to know section.
