Setting dates

For my first listing, I'd like to say the house is available from Feb 5 - April 13. I can't figure out how to make those the only dates available. How do I provide that info?

@Glenn303  Set your calendar to 6 months out only, and block all the other dates when you don't want to host. The 6 months will keep rolling on, so you'll have to keep blocking dates. But when Feb.  rolls around, you can reset it for 3 months into the future, which would keep your calendar open until the end of April at that point.

Sarah, I appreciate you trying to help me. Pls excuse my ignorance. When you say "set your calendar to 6 month out", I have no idea where to find that. Can you tell me please?

@Glenn303  It's in your availability settings on your calendar page.

That's also where you'll find settings for advance notice, and leaving a day or two between bookings if you don't want same day turnovers (called prep time).

It's really important for you to look around your hosting pages and click on everything, and make notes for yourself, so you know where to access stuff when you need it. There's a lot, and much of it is hidden behind clicks and more clicks. It's pretty frustrating, as it's poorly designed and more complicated than it should be.

@Glenn303 when you set up your listing it will automatically make dates available to book based on the booking window you set. You can limit this to 3 or 6 months BUT it is a rolling timeframe so new dates will be continually made available as time moves on.

You also need to block dates in the calendar you don't want to take bookings on. To do this you go to your calendar, highlight the dates and then click block on the right hand side

Hope this helps. You can also block dates in advance of the 3/6 month period above.
