Shortcode for "entry code" for integrated smart lock

I just integrated my smart lock with airbnb. It is mentioned in multiple places that I can use a shortcode in my scheduled messages but I don't see that option anywhere. Is it possible to setup a scheduled message to give the guest their unique door code?

To see a list of short codes to use for Scheduled Messages and Short Replies, Go to:

- Go to Messages (click preferences icon top right - 3 lines)

- Click Scheduled Messages or Quick Replies

- Click the message you want to insert the short code (or create a new message)

- Find the place where you want "entry code" to appear in the message.

- Click insert short code (you'll get a list of codes - scroll down)

- Find "Entry Code" and click to insert in message

If you don't see "entry code" in the list, then you'll have to contact Airbnb. I would logoff Airbnb and then login again first to see if "entry code" appears in your list after your lock is fully integrated before contacting Airbnb:

Thanks. I’ve looked here but “entry code” simply isn’t there. I’ve tried to log out and back in multiple times. Does it normally take a little bit to show up? I only integrated last night

I would wait 24-48 hours. It's possible it won't appear until you have your first guest book after you have integrated the lock.

You can always contact Airbnb CS and ask, but I'm not sure you'll get a timely (or correct answer) 😉
