Unable to edit check in method for my listing

This has been going on since May 2023. I cannot edit the entry codes for my building or unit. In my strata I'm required to change them at a minimum of once per year. Have sent 2 requests to the Airbnb helpline, both times have been verified as a legitimate problem, they say they are aware of the issue and close the ticket and to check back occasionally to see if the issue is resolved. 4 months now and nothing.

I now have to tell guests that the code check in info is incorrect and send them the current one through the message system. 

Anyone have a similar problem or a fix? I've tried different browsers (Chrome and Edge and my Android phone) to no avail.

That sounds incredibly frustrating!

A few suggestions:

Log off Airbnb on ALL devices (laptop, ipad/tablet, phone). Then delete the Airbnb App on your phone and re-install it (DO NOT LOGIN TO ANY OTHER DEVICE). Then log-in to the Airbnb App on your phone using your email address (not your phone number).  If the problem still persists, logoff the App on your phone, then delete the App on your phone and use someone else's phone (preferably an iPhone) to try and login to the App with your email address. Airbnb always suggests clearing your cache and browsing history, but that never worked form me and it's a pain. Sometimes if you phone is not running the most current software, or your Airbnb App is not up-to-date it can also cause problems. Be sure you are running the most current software and the most current App version of Airbnb.

That's all I can think of to possible resolve. 🤔  Let us know if this works for you as it might help somone else. 😊

Thanks for your suggestions. I did try but no luck. Didn't try the iPhone suggestion though, nobody I know uses one. 🤔

Oddly, today Aug 29 (problem since May/23) I checked and I was able to change the numerical code. It appears ok now, no idea what went on behind the scenes, no contact from Airbnb.

Just thankful it is resolved. Hopefully it sticks.
