Hello,My wife Sandi and I have been Airbnb hosts for over 5 years now. We achieved Superhost status as soon as possible and we average a 4.97 guest rating. We are also in the "Guest Preferred Home" category. We love hosting and traveling with Airbnb. On the host side, the software is easy to use, the support is excellent and the commission rate is reasonable. We've had great success on Airbnb until recently. Our bookings are down 50% from a year ago. After much investigation, we've found that the problem is related to visibility in search results. We have contacted support many times, and they always tell us our listing comes up for them on the 1st or second page. We are not finding that to be the case. By scrolling down (a bit to the south and east) the property does show up, but we feel (and results show) that potential guests are not doing this. The result of this issue has caused us to seek business on other platforms. We've had much of our business lately come from booking.com . We really wish we could do all our business on Airbnb for the aforementioned reasons. Booking.com software is clunky, support is not helpful and the commission rate is sky high. Anyone else have a similar issue?
