Buongiorno @Crys816 ,
I took a quick look at your listing and it seems to me that you could improve your photos, here are some tips on how to best photograph your home:
hope it helps

I love these little tips! When the sun comes out I Amy implement some of these ideas 🙂
Your properties are beautiful and unique. The bathroom on your first listing, amazing.
Suggestion
Your ad description tells me the area and history but nothing about what you want money for the rental space. It is good to speak of apea just balance all you said was go thru this door.
The area history is great but maybe be=reate some guidebooks to tell guests.
No recent rentals to the Airbnb Search is no traffic which effects display which has a negative effect on traffic.
Ideas to get you back up.
Turn on Instabook Airbnb likes that. It is a tool you can turn on and off as you need. I when I use will change notification and minimum stay to allow me time to vet and scammers focus on 1 nighters.
You may want to offer a sale price to give yoy some traction,
On your new listing do the Airbnb New Listing Discount
Be conscious update even if minor your ads regularly. Search Engines are just machines date modified on your ad says old or new.
General Internet Search Engines read the Airbnb site because it has traffic. Certain locations like yours I would think people want to experience and explore. Generate traffic by identifying keywords an sprinkle using ad guidebooks and photo captions
Hi Crys,
Beautiful home and a great start as you already have a five star review there.
My suggestions are as follows:
- I love your pictures and they communicate a lot of history, but some of the pictures are not going to help travelers make a decision efficiently, I would suggest removing the picture of the Cemetery sign in particular. Some pics of the crown molding and roofing are also secondary, but I may be wrong.
- Back to pictures again, when I started hosting, I used to take close up pictures of absolutely everything because I saw subliminal values in everything, my suggestion would be to take wide angle landscape pictures showcasing the entire home rather than concentrating on doors and windows and chests or wood flooring. It's best to mention them in the description but in terms of pictures, take wide angles and showcase as much as possible.
- In terms of descriptions, while it is great you have so many names, it could be confusing for so many I believe. I loved that the first reviewer mentioned the Amish house, I know what Amish is, but I would get confused by Horse & Harness. If this is the name of the home, can you have that name somewhere on the house or is this an imaginary name? If you keep it, maybe make it clear in the description, Welcome to our (Amish) home, called Horse & Harness...
- Some of the area descriptions can also be simplified, for example there was a picture with lots of signs including stop signs, I would either describe it better or remove it altogether. Ideally you don't want stop signs or any subliminal messages that deter people from booking up there.
- Overall great history and a welcoming, warm and cozy place. I am not sure when you took pictures, but since Spring is coming and you have a lot of yard space etc, take pictures of the bloom or greener areas and also to give it some colors... I personally love colors and while the overall color scheme is a little on a darker side, my understanding is guests love vibrant, inviting colors and accents, even if you have a fresh bouquet of flowers, etc, that would make a difference.
I have not examined the listing in too much details but this would be my two cents and I hope it helps. You have a bit of space there, my boat listing is so tiny it takes effort to cram everything in one space. I will be sure to check out your place when I am up there in the beautiful countryside.
Good luck.
Rose.
