Hello everyone, I've recently registered a new apartment in Berlin, but the Bürgeramt refused to approve it for short-term subletting. The apartment is in a building that operates more like a hotel or hostel. Has anyone else in Berlin faced a similar issue? I would appreciate any advice or assistance navigating this situation."

That sounds correct some areas only property owners to apply for STR licenses. As your landlord has agreed you can sublet for STR you can see if they will apply for a license. @Mujtaba2
