We are very sorry to inform you that ’The Hague city council’ - with immediate effect - banned renting property or a room via agencies such as Airbnb, following a controversial National court ruling earlier this year. 

In that ruling, the national Council of State said that it is illegal to rent out property to tourists without a permit because landlords are effectively removing a home from the national housing stock. The ruling means everyone who rents out property to tourists without a permit is breaking the law. 

The decision of ’The Hague city council’ is not to bring in a licensing system for holiday rentals. 

To comply with the law we are therefore forced to cancel your booking.
