[Updated] Information on Groups closing date

Hi everyone,

Quick update for you all: we have decided to keep the Groups platform open as it is, until the 25th February 2016.

We previously planned for it to be read-only until then, but have taken the decision to keep it open a bit longer, based on your valuable feedback and your concerns about the different important features that are not yet available for November, like Meetups, but which we continue to develop for the Community Center. Thanks so much for your feedback and comments so far! 

Although we encourage you to move to the new platform as soon as possible, this extended period with Groups will give you some more time to adjust, get used to the new forum, and bring over any existing content you'd like to transfer.

Hello All,

Just a quick update on this as a few hosts have been reporting that they are unable to find the 'Groups' area. As mentioned in @Marjo0's post above 'Groups' will remain open until 25th February 2016. This still remains the case, however some of the normal icon links that you usually use to reach this area are being tested at the moment and so occasionally they may not appear where they should be. With this in mind, I would recommend copying or noting down the URL for your group so that you can reach it at any point before the 25th February.
