AIRCOVER

AIRCOVER

Hi all

I am new to hosting. I used to do Airbnb hosting through a third party, now I am taking the reigns to have full control of bookings and choice of guests.

Is Aircover automatically included?
If a guest hurts themselves at my property, who is liable?

Do I need to take out Short term accommodation insurance?

I am located in Western Australia and have council approval.

Thank you

Hi @Sofia1411 😊

Thank you for asking this question in the community!

When did you start hosting?

I'm sharing with you this article about 👉 How AirCover for Hosts works.

I'm also tagging a few hosts from Australia to see if they’d could help you with this: @Jeff89@Rosanna51@Laurelle3@Robin4 and @Hayley185.

Thank you in advance everyone!

Warm regards 🌻,

Hiii! Thanks so much for your reply.

I used to host through a third party, until I had a criminal in my house as the third party didn't do their verification properly.

So now I manage my own property, which I still reside in when I don't have bookings.

I have been hosting for 1 month this time around, so far so good, 3 bookings already.

Have a great day ahead,

Sofia
