Airbnb assigned the wrong tax jurisdiction and said that it takes 30 days to fix

At least 7 people have responded, kicking it down the line to someone else, who's now on vacation. Their manager closed out the case because they "can't have cases opened this long"... in other words, it makes their metrics look bad. This isn't closed though, and my guess is it will fall of the radar now. I am completely stuck. The wrong taxes are being collected (18% vs. 6%) and sent to the wrong town. They do not respond to my questions about the process for resolving this. I also have other guests waiting to transfer to my new listing from a prior host, and they are freaking out because the taxes are higher. They either have to wait, or pay more, or have me pay more. Has anyone been in this situation before?

Hi @Jocelyn644

I'm really sorry to hear that this issue you were experiencing was so challenging to get help with. As it's been a little while now since you posted, I wanted to check if you had managed to find a solution in the end, with the help of the Support team?

It would be great to hear how you're getting on. 🙂

Thanks,

Emilie
