Airbnb took our money after a cancelation

Back in March 2020 we received a cancelation request due to the pandemic. We happily accepted the cancelation and gave them the refund. It was through the airbnb site and the request was airbnb. We just started hosting again september 2021 and our first booking was supposed to be paid out yesterday and to our surprise the full amount for the cancelation request back in March 2020 was taken out of our account.  How is this possible?  Anyone else experience this?

it is not clear to me who cancelled the reservation ("We happily accepted the cancelation" ?).

How was the refund processed ?

Could it be the guest is refunded twice (by Airbnb and manually by you ?)

But you need to contact Airbnb about the issue, this community can not correct it.
