Experience with listing short term rentals on Airbnb?

Hi everyone!

I've recently learned that it is possible to rent an apartment and list it on Airbnb during the time that you're the "tenant". Does anyone have any experience with this? Any tips?

@Jorey0 Unless your lease specifically allows this then don't do it. The vast majority of landlords will not allow sub leasing at all let alone on Airbnb.

Also, if you value your credit rating, who would pay if a guest wrecks the apartment?
