Govt I’d for no review guests

Do you as hosts think it’s a good idea asking guests with no reviews and or just joined Airbnb submit a gov I’d to me via messaging? I am new as a host and get guests who either just joined air BNb, and already joined but no reviews requesting stays and they worked out knock on wood however I asked that they submit a pictured I’d when they book with me however some submit it and some don’t should I push the subject by asking for it before entry code is issued?

All my guests have gone through the verifying government ID process before they send through a reservation request or instant book. In reality, it probably means nothing, but it makes me feel better.

@Emilia42 @Thats for instant booking correct? I have instant book for my individual rooms however wanted to verify for the 2 rooms bookings
